RUA working with the University of Strathclyde on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP)

RUA is delighted to be working with the University of Strathclyde on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP)*. The KTP is a three-way partnership between business, academic/research teams and qualified graduates, and designed to drive innovation for UK businesses and organisations. RUA’s KTP partnership will introduce new polymer science and processing knowledge and skills into our polymeric heart valve technology platform. As well as enabling access to academic networks and specialist equipment, this will allow two postgraduates to gain experience within industry and the opportunity to apply their skills in a practical environment.

KTPs connect forward thinking businesses with the UK’s world class knowledge bases to deliver a business led innovation projects. Right now, around 800 businesses, 100 knowledge bases and over 800 graduates are involved in KTPs in a unique collaborative, three-way partnerships creating positive impact and driving innovation.
