RUA Medical are delighted to announce that Dr Caroline Stretton joined the company on the 26th March 2018 as Chief Executive Officer.
Caroline was previously Director of Manufacturing & Operations at Touch Bionics by Ossur, a world leading upper limb prosthetics provider. She brings with her over twenty-five years experience in the Life Sciences industry and previous companies include Ocutec, Mpathy Medical Devices, Metris Therapeutics and Ivax. Caroline specialises in the invention, design, development, supply and commercialisation of technologically innovative products for worldwide markets. She holds a Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. She will be responsible for the day to day running of the business and will develop and implement the company long-term growth strategy.
Founder David Richmond will take up a newly created role of Global Business Development Director. He will focus on working directly with clients on their new product requirements and developing a long-term growth strategy for RUA Medical.
